Conan advises clients on a range of policy challenges including global AI regulation, competition, investment frameworks in telecoms markets, employment policy and the ‘gig economy’, data protection, and cybersecurity legislation.
Conan leads Global Counsel’s Technology, Media and Telecoms practice. Before joining Global Counsel, Conan was Special Adviser to the British Deputy Prime Minister on innovation policy and, prior to this, spent several years as a political adviser in the European Parliament to senior MEPs.
Conan coordinates Global Counsel’s support for technology, media and telecommunications clients. He advises global technology, telecoms and media companies on emerging policy frameworks in the EU, UK and US on artificial intelligence, data protection, online safety, digital competition, the 'gig economy' and the 'metaverse'.
